I'm in for a tassie cruise.

I'm waiting for the day when I can take my car on a cruise and not have some sort of problem. I'm just glad I made it home from buxton.

Alex I am one step ahead of you mate, I was thinking that we could do it when you get your licence back because we sure did miss your beast at the buxton cruise..

also 11 months would give us to not only get the logistics of the trip organised, but also to finish our cars..

I for one would do the Z18 conversion for sure if we were to do this trip, as well as the paint job and suspension etc..

Z18 conversion eh have you decided gas or petrol yet?

Arman,

My Dad went with the Prince Skyline guys last year (I think it was). He said they had a great time and were down there for a good 5 days (from memory). I can dig up the map they used, although I'm sure it would be found online somewhere. Count me in for interest. I was going to take the missus down there this year for a holiday in the datto when she's a little quieter (the 1600 that is), because at the moment, i'm going deaf due to the noise.

I can lend a hand to help organise etc. if you want.

I reckon either a drive over to Tassie, or a drive over to South Australia to visit our SA bros. over there?
Tradition should be made that each year an 'assault' over to a neighbouring state should be made :D
Perth and Queensland for the real hard core.

thanks for the interest Nik

if this was to happen it would be great if you could help out mate (along with others too i hope) with organising as it will be a massive effort to get it happening, and yeah we would need to dig up maps and organise accomodation etc. etc..

i think its a fantastic idea to have an 'assault' each year to a different state and make it an Ozdat Vic tradition. just need to get the people interested.

if i can make the easter cruise (still pending work) i will get some feedback from everyone for interest, then i wil start a new thread asking for definate answers (even though i understand its hard to commit to something like this especialy 12 months away)..

hope we can make this happen, would be an awesome trip... :D

Myself and Green200B will be able to check Queensland off our lists in a few days time.

Does that make us hardcore?

Clearly, if we are foolish enough to try and drive our 200Bs to Queensland, we must be pretty harcore.

how is this comming along. maybe we could get a commitee list or somthing then organise a place and time to sit down work out the details. If this is going to happen we need to get it organised very early. I dont mind putting my hand up to help organise. maybe in a month or so if we get some volunteers we can have a meeting with a map etc. Again im happy to have the meeting at my house if location is a problem.

Yeah, it would be a good idea to get the ball rolling on this one early, to avoid disasters like the supposed "datnats '09 convoy" *cough* two cars *cough*

well this was and still is an EOI only thread..but i am happy with the interests so far, maybe i should start a new thread asking for a definate yes or a no?

then we can put a commitee together, give people specific tasks, have regular meetings and get the ball rolling, we will need 12 months to organise all this..

so who is up for the challenge??
