How did the night stages compare to the daylight ones?

The owner of the Video has already done this and due to the soundtrack you want get any sound because of copyright.

I wish they hadn't put the music over the top of it! I can't hear the cars! Plus I don't like Linkin Park much.

Gday All,

The Begonia wasn't the best event for me. About 1.5KM into SS4 my brakes decided to give up the ghost. :( Long story short is that the threaded rod that works the peddle box bent and thus that was the end of the event for me. The first 3 stages were terrific. I'll get some in car footage loaded up onto you tube during the week.

Riley, I was in the green 1600 #44 VCRS.
The first stage was cancelled after car 42 (liberty) for some reason. We heard a couple of reasons why one was there were protesters on the stage and another was they decided the 1st speci point was to dangerous because of two way traffic :? Either way we were very pissed off that they let VRC go through and stopped us (we ended up just driving through the stage turning right at the speci point to shorten it). I spoke to many people that were at the 1st speci point including my family and they said there was no problems with how it was setup.
I let the president of the BLCC know of my thoughts on this at service, don't think he was impressed with my opinion :)

Don't quote me but I think you will find it had nothing about protesters, Ed Ordinski had something to do with it.

Simon, do you mean Spectator Point 1? There were protesters there but they weren't interfering at all (just holding up signs as people walked over).
The layout of the intersection had cars coming from different sides, separated by hay bales (in blue)

You are right, it had nothing to do with the protesters. I have to be careful what I say here as certain people read this forum but, I have heard that BLCC had no intention of VCRS running on SS1 after VRC. They wanted more money from VCRS and when they didn't get it they decided to fukc us around as much as possible. Hence all the delays. It was to easy to pass the blame onto the protesters.
We didn't even have a sweep car infront of us for the last 3 stages and that is just bloody dangerous.

I think you will find it had nothing to do with money and that BLCC had every intention of running the VCRS people through the speccy point. Our road book had the start position in the exact same spot the second time through. As for the delays, that is just part of what can happen sometimes which can be annoying for everyone. Just part of Ralling I spose?
