Hey All

This message is to let you know that regs and entry forms for the
2010 John Mott Memorial Sprint are available

You can all start entering the event!
Tell your friends, spread the word.

The event format is the same as last year.

* Saturday is a non-timed circuit familiarisation day. We will allow
passengers at our discretion on selected sessions in the afternoon,
which makes fun for everyone.
* Sunday is a competitive, timed super sprint. This could decide
who is the 2010 NCCA sprint king?
* Normal for NCCA events, this event represents great value for
money, with around 1hr track time per day. Last year some competitors got 50 laps, something previously unheard of - what could be better value for money?

Supplementary regulations and entry form is available on this forum, and
on our club website, http://www.nissancarclub. org.au
<http://www.nissanca rclub.org. au/> .

Hope we can get as many dattos out there as possible

Cheers Daniel Devenish
2010 John Mott Sprint Secretary

NCCA need officials too if anyone wants to get really close to the action.

just a reminder about the John Mott Sprint coming up in 2 weeks at Sandown.

There is currently about 30 entrants for the Saturday and the Sunday.
As it stands you will be getting at least an hour of track time on the Saturday and up to 9 runs on the Sunday.
There is still time to get your entry in,
Hope to see you there

cheers
Bruce

FWIW I had a great day on Sunday - untill about 2PM when the rain set in :(
My only casualty was a blown manifold gasket & I set a not 'too shabby for a stock 240Z' time of 1:33.5 :D

Good stuff mate. How did you find driving the Z in anger? We ran in a rally on Saturday night and blew a manifold gasket aswel, luckily only on #4 exhaust.

It's a bit wobbly through turn in & mid corner, but that's just the tired Koni Reds & lowered springs. Needs a LSD badly too...

And it's turned out it's not a manifold gasket, but a head gasket :( :?
We took the giant 280ZX air-box off before my 4th run and it's must have lessened the restriction (= more air) leaned the poor girl out = the h/gasket let go due to lean detonation.
Guess you have to be careful when your running 48deg of full advance... :?
