Yes, watch out for those stumps, you just need to stay on the road. We had a good run last year.

Apperantly when you hit a ford (the water crossing type not the car), that is marked as a EXTREME CAUTION !!! Severe Concrete Ford and you are still in 3rd at 6000+rpm they can damage parts of your car. But farck it was funny when the rear end went 2 meters in the air

well it was a sh*t night all round. it had rained bucket loads on the friday before the event and there was a lot of re routing done so it was always going to be a handful.

we went ok on the first stage but then had the trip meter stop working and left the road on stage two dodging between two trees (i dont know how we missed them but we did) the car flew i the air and i had some wires come off the coil and the engine stopped. took a few minutes to find the problem and get going again so dropped about 8 minutes. then did the rest of the rally till service with no trip meter. i have a new respect for my nav Andrew and this was one forest where you dont want to be blind (no pun intended) he did and awesome job.

so it was a night just to finish (alot didnt) for us, which we did coming in at 20th but a finish is better than a dnf so ill take that and the car is still straight.

to Sweet Stanza you must have been the bloke my service crew was talking to about the air box, glad you had fun but watch out this game is highley addictive

Up there spectating and servicing. Was cold but at least it wasn't raining. Roads were apparently very slippery though, Brother Steve went through the spectator point, and I could hear him have a spin. There was about 8-12 inches of mud on one corner. Next car, a 1600 got bogged there

He's happy because it's his first ever event win, first time at night for maybe 4 years, 2nd drive in 2 years and had no distance computer so they had to guess where to go (lots of slow down, we gotta turn somewhere). That said, he did have a turbo legacy so we were hoping he was going to do well.

Impressed by the guy in the excel. Not bad to finish that high up
