Sorry stainless, I dont want to bother rod with making a tank but he completely slipped my mind. Ill go see him when I get a chance...

I tried long range fuel tanks, but they didnt seem to have much of an idea what I wanted, said around 700-900.

Trickfab wants 1800ish for a race set up tank with baffles inside and 5lt surgetank in built.
A perfect set up but over what I planned on spending on the car.

failing that Ill see if race wants to do my tank, Might as well get them to do my cooler/rad while the cars there, they have made about 6 rads/coolers for that car anyways.

Try Brown Davis in Bayswater and Trik Engineering in Dandenong. They specialise in tanks (and roll cages).

Another mob who can make whatever you want in stainless or aluminium is Mammoth Custom Engineering in Bayswater. Call Justin on 0405 401 461- he speaks fluent Datsun.

Cheers.

Yer but I dont want to run a fuel cell :P

I might just make a set up were I run a cell for e85 and the factory tank for normal fuel..

Cant see myself spending 2500 on a fuel tank set up just for e85

But E85 is so much cheaper, it will pay its self off and you will also be able to run moar boost! :p

you could always try retrofitting a plastic tank from another vehicle, wouldn't be easy tho....

plus you use 30%+ more fuel

don't spend the 2500 on a specific fuel tank arrangement, you'll only sell it again in six months anyway...

You will need plenty of drums my friend :giggle:

Don't see the point in going E85 unless you're doing so....

I think ill just run a factory tank set up, and a surge tank set up and switch maps to suit when needed.

Yes car is mainly for track use, The way I drive on the street there is no point Ill will just end up impounded all its life.
