Hang on a sec... this whole thread is not a joke??? You seriously think 200b's are good? Only redeeming feature is they are cheap and have a scrap value the same as their purchase price.

People were saying the same thing about 180B's 15 years ago, from what I hear.

Now look at them.

That 180B has been for sale for ages, it used to be unregistered. Very nice though.

It will be interesting to see what happens to 200B's in a couple of years. They might be the right mix between old school and new school. I guess it just comes down to what mods you can do to them to appeal.

my forcast will be that they will end up being like bluebirds, have decent parts in them, drive well but lacking in the looks department, so minimal 'datsun tax'
that said, least bluebirds have there own forum :P

You can make any Datsun look cool with the right wheel and ride height combination!

I'll have to make a 200B forum then. It will end up with a whole ten members.

I tried to sell my 180B SSS around 5 years ago. It looked OK, completely original, perfect interior with retrimmed seats and new carpet, uncracked dash, mechanically OK.

Started at $1500, got down to $500 without any takers, so decided to keep it myself.

I think when it comes to the 200b its blessed with chrome bumpers people seem to think that makes are car valuble reguarly friends or neighbours say to me must be worth 10x what you paid for it based on that. even if it is worth alot one day il never sell it because i love it. Also i hate new cars.

About time we start organising the next vic cruise, would be a far more constructive use of the vic section. Also spring is comming up. though the 200bs probably wont make it if we go too far (had to keep it on topic :P)
