So every now and then, I'm sure there's more then a few of us who have needed parts for our old girls and have had trouble acquiring them....

I'm not sure about others, but i troll the wrecking yards every week or so (now that i have my saturdays back!) and always keep my eyes peeled for old datsun's/nissan's that people could need parts for...so i thought i'd start this topic for people who might do similar...it can also be for people who are looking for a certain car in the wreckers as well, not just wrecks we find...

On wednesday i was at Centre road wreckers (also know as imlachs) on centre road in clayton...

There was a 120y sedan, a S1 Bluebird, a 180B and a datsun sunny (sorry, don't know the designation of it...)

They were all pretty complete and the bluebird had a really mint Brown interior, the sunny had a broken passenger side tail light, but the front end was pretty darn straight...

I'm going back on saturday morning, so i'll update if i see anything else...

Great idea for a thread - I've been thinking os staring one. Could a moderator please sticky this?

I was at Centre Road wreckers yesterday, two or three 120Ys, one had good doors, a round-headlight Sunny sedan and a square-headlight Sunny van.

Harvey wreckers in Baxter have a granny-spec 120Y for sale. It has a bit of rust and the paint is fairly sun-damaged but it might be a good project for someone. They want $500 for it but may be negotiable.

BTW there is a very decent S2 bluebird wagon at the pick a part. I don't know which one I went to though lol. Also a slightly less decent sedan and 2 far from decent 120Y's.

Just checked, the one I went to is Campbellfeild. Enjoy!

Always found Harveys to be a good wreckers. Got a lot of parts from them over the years and they negotiate pretty well on price.

At least that has been my experience
