I will try and finish the Green coupe 1000 but wont have it registered by then :(
Could I get a day permit from Vicroads or other permit just for the event?

I think you would have to speak to Vicroads. I have a feeling the permits only permit a small amount of time to have it un-registered to allow you to drive to and from a mechanic etc.. Someone else have experience with this?

Stuff to bring when you rock up at these places:
1. A chair.
2. a Drink (non alcoholic, I assume :D )
3. Sunscreen and a hat (for follicular challenged like me)
4. Anything else? Food?
