Post subject:  Melbourne Datsun Dinner every Thursday night
All Melbourne datsun enthusiasts are invited to dinner on Thursday nights at "Punchinello's" (formerly 'La Porchetta') in St. Kilda, 33 Fitzroy St (near the bottom of Fitzroy St.) around 7:30pm.

Come put and some faces to the names of some of the members of Ozdat, in a friendly & sociable Datsun orientated atmosphere.

All are welcome!

Sounds great, only met Mick so far :D

Ill fire off an SMS on Tuesday when I know what time getting out of work.

As a newbie to Vic, I wondered if theres any landmark near the restaurant? Easy to park?

Ivan,

Heading down Fitzroy St towards the beach its about 50 metres back from the last set of lights.

Parking is usually available on side streets, or you can meet at Andrew Greenbury's with ample parking as we usually just walk down from there.

umm, my work just took over the 'La Porchetta' in ackland st and it is now a 7/11 and a wine store - is this the one you are talking about or the new one over the other side?

It's the one down the end of Fitzroy St, St Kilda. (The bay end).

Ahh thats where I was last Wednesday.... I got their old addy off their website. Was alking up and down Ackland st :)

Hey dude,

We're going to trial having dinner on Thursdays this week and see if that suits some people. We've had people who wish they could get along but have other commitments so we'll see.

So yes, dinner is Thursday this week. SMS/Ring me on the day if you're going to come along ok? :)

DOONS510 > you can take your car, I have a couple of times, but its a bit of a dog to park around there.
