This year marks the 30th anniversary of George Fury's Bathurst pole position in the Nissan Bluebird #15.

Fury and the car made history when he qualified for pole position at the 1984 James Hardie 1000, setting a track record of 2 minutes 13.85 seconds (old circuit).
