Hey guys I'm a newbie here and just having bought a granny spec 180b I'm looking to purchase and install a sr20de/t combo and want to know of fitment issues associated. Not my first conversion by any means I've put sr's into a few cars now but never a Datsun. I see the crossmember needs reversing.

1: Is the tunnel size a issue my car is factory manual.

2:Does the shifter end up through the standard position using the sr box

3: what fuel setups have people used

4: can the 180b tail shaft be used for the sr

Many thanks

Gday mate, welcome.

1: Is the tunnel size a issue my car is factory manual.
No issues here

2:Does the shifter end up through the standard position using the sr box
No. The SR box is longer so the shifter gets moved further back and the tail shaft needs to get shortened.

3: what fuel setups have people used
I run a lift pump to 2L surge tank then bosch pump. All in Boot. Annoying.

4: can the 180b tail shaft be used for the sr
Yes, but it needs to be shortened.

I run a RB non turbo box with SR bellhousing. With this combo the shifter is in the standard position and the tail shaft does not need to be modified.
