120Y wagon with L20B, twin webbers, 5spd, Stanza struts and brakes, King springs, new 2" exhaust, Stratos seats, but no carpet or rear seat and badly faded paint. Up side is its pretty straight and has virtually no rust - not even inthe tailgate! gotta love country cars. Picked it up off ebay for the princely sum of $1153 :D its even mod plated for the motor and stuff. drives nice too.

this basically means I have no motorsport budget left so I won't be running at the next Lakeside day or going to Oran Park again :( but I just had to have this car - its basically what I was going to do to my 120Y coupe that's just a bare shell under the house at the moment, and you don't see many 120Y wagons running around. So tidy a few things up and give it a quick lick of paint and she'll be a much cheaper daily than the Patrol or Supra. but the devil in me says it would be fun to build up a hot L16 for it and run a few hillclimbs and stuff in the under 1600cc class! hehe

I had a look at this one.was exceptionaly good rust wise.
my mate was goin to pay something like 2500 for it,but pulled out.

when we took it for a test drive,it had no go,felt like a a12 was still there.
after speaking with the fella,i figured the cam sprocket was a little out.also what stoney said was another reason it lacking grunt :|

you got yourself a good bargain mate, had i saw it it on ebay it might of cost you closer to 2k
still running the msd ?
good to see it go to a datto lover :)

Nice bit of weight over the rear axle, should be good for grip on those hillclimbs hehe ;-)
