I think the reason I didn't make the same mistake is because my exhaust valves has "OUT" stamped on them.

well today i gave my full ported, polished & shaved A87 head a 3 angle valve job (using my mates neway valve cutters... love these to bits)
my brand new N1 & X3 valves are seated perfectly :giggle:

36mm Intake valve??? are you sure???

I thought the standard intakes were either 38mm or 42mm.
When modified, most will use 44mm Intakes

My manual says
180b: inlet 42 (No mention of SSS), exh 35
1600: inlet 38 (SSS 42), exh 33
So it does beg the question....what have you got????? :shock:

good point? but unfortunately i dont have these heads anymore.
