A hydro bath for dogs??? HAHHAhahaha.
Sounds good. I assume you fitted them to the 180B? Do you think the pressure in them (or the force to close the bonnet) is enough?

Got them for my old mans car, they won't work on a 180b without an extra bracket on the bonnet hinge due to the different design.

I've only fitted 1 so far, but the fact they are quiet short and very hard means they should do the job fine.

In saying that, I haven't fitted the bonnet back on yet so this is all speculation, but once I do I'm going to see if only 1 is required, but I have a feeling there might be to much flex in the bonnet on one side.

I have some struts for my 1600.
They look like the ones already pictured and although I haven't fitted them yet, I know they're spot on as I know someone that has the exact same ones on their car.
In fact I'm catchin up with the guy tomorrow so I may have a chat with him about doing a group buy.
If anyone is interested in getting some let me know.
And this guy does them himself so if you need them to be a little softer to suit a carbon bonnet or somehting he could probably adjust the pressure to suit.

Shaun,

I spoke to David S at Gas Struts, and his ones are slightly different to the ebay ones. The Ebay ones are slightly shorter and don't require an extra bracket like Damo has on his car.
David can get the same as the ebay ones and pretty cheap, but needs a part number!
I just ordered them straight through ebay!

Hey Nik,
Not quite with you mate. I was refering to Tony's and I don't beleive he needed any extra brackets.

I wasn't referring to Tony's as I haven't seen Tony's fitted.
I was referring to Damiens blue 1600 car which has them.
Tony smells, that's it.

I know it's not a 1600 but I just saw these chrome ones, they look really nice on an older car...
