Hi as the topic suggests I have a R31 Pintara and although the speedo works the odometer does not. Can anyone throw some light on what may be done to get it working. Thanks in advance for any help. :cheers

I assume it is mechanical and not digital?
Highly likely that the drive gear is stripped inside the speedo.
Apparently, resetting the Odo while moving is a NO NO, it will do just that :(

Speedo is electric from the box but not sure on how the odometer works off this. I have just recently purchased the car and had the same problem with a Corsair which is only a Nissan. Hoping some one could shed some light on the problem. :cheers

Like nissanman says its most likely the odo gears have broken teeth.
My R31 is the same.
Common fault that these and the trip meter stops working.
They get brittle with age...

There may be a seller on eBay that sells replacement cogs for R31s, Holdens and Fords etc?
