:( so on Sunday I went to check out my baby, I'd been away on holidays and she had just returned from a brake shop. With 3weeks of dust built up on her i decided to give her the once over, this is when sh*t hit the fan.
Unbeknownst to me and my friend who was good enough to pick it up for me, it had obtained rear quarter damage. The impact has scratched and cracked the paint, also it was hard enough to bend the rear bumper to the body and scratch behind the bumper, then flexed back almost to its original position!!!
I'm just over the lack of care some people take. Who ever hit it knows about it, you can't hit a steel bumper and not receive damage. Yet they still kept it quite...

I've spoken to the shop and I'm feeling 50/50 on weather they are going to do the right thing or try to bend me over and play the i know nothing card!!

My painter checked it out and tells me that really about 1/3 of the car will need to be resprayed to have it right again...

Hope it works itself out.....

richard

Got good news today, the brake company's insurance has agreed to fixing the damage which occurred whilst in their care. I'm stocked that i did not have to get nasty over the incident. I'm booked in for the 22nd :woohoo: :cheers that's a load of my mind

Good stuff! Great to hear you are covered.

It's stuff like this that makes me fear taking my car places or even parking it at supermarkets etc.
