I have been hunting around , can't seem to find much and I'm interested to know is it owned by a forum member or is there a build diary on the net somewhere? Does anyone know it's history and the quality of the work done on it. Does it represent good value? I've had a few average to neat datsuns and I'm keen to step up to a nice car, just don't want to get burnt, additionally tassie is a long way to go to get a car!!!!!

looks good but 10k???? I know wagons are rareer but 10k seems a bit rich. Would need to be a good restore for that

If he's a good seller he should be able to send you plenty of pics highlighting the good and bad points of the car. Get as much info directly from them and dont rush into anything.
At some point you will need to bite the bullet and either fly/drive over there to inspect it in person.
Never buy a car sight unseen...

Thanks for the info guys. I couldn't find anything about it and I'm yet to call the owner so I haven't heard the ins and outs yet. Still debating if I can justify dropping 10k on a 1200 wagon before I go wasting his time. It's a big step up from the 1500 - 2k dattos I've played with in the past.
