Has anyone seen or done an L16 and 5 speed conversion into a 1000 ute? Am I biting off too much or should it be fairly straight forward?

Should've pretty simple just may run into some issues wit diff and cops and possibly the height of the l, you may have to get creative with the crossmember

Its one of those conversions that you wouldn't bother doing.

A15 engine instead all the way. L16 would (I imagine) be heavier and you may have bonnet clearance issues.

Thanks guys. the other option was massage the A10 a little, twin cam head, maybe even put it on a ventilator
