I'm going to order a Heated Screen for my 1600 rally car, as plumbing up a Heater and Fan is too difficult the the Dazda, the Guy that sells them will have a few spares from the production run.

They seen like a good thing.

How are they priced compared to a conventional windscreen?

Very interesting. How do they work? Are they just an element laminated onto or into the screen?
Checked the website:
Screens are of course laminated, using full light green tinted glass, having multiple zig zag micro fine Tungsten wires up and down.
Whilst these wires maybe visible close up, from a driving position you wouldn’t even know they are there!
Note : …. All screens are ADR compliant ( Not that that matters if being used solely for motor racing ).

Pretty cool they are ADR compliant too!

What he said.

Depending on price, I may be interested as I'm currently getting my 1600 up to CAMS logbook standard, one thing I need to do is replace the original screen with a laminated one.

How do you drive the control of these? I assume it would be from a standard 12V in and a relay/switch.

Got this from the FAQ part of the website.

What do I need to Install? : It is recommended to install the screen utilizing a 20 – 25 amp fuse in conjunction with an LED indicator. When installing it is imperative to FULLY COVER the edges with sealant, to avoid failure of the element. This will void any warranty!

I am interested pending price, will try emailing them.

I'm also awaiting a reply to my email. Website seems to show price as being around $600-ish for most screens.
