Ok. Its amye, grahams other half...

I know some of you saw the post graham put up about the Nissan Steering wheel that he bought... well as you know it dont fit... silly boy he is...

So, on that note, I have searched the old posts and I cant find anywhere a reference to what steering wheels will fit... im sure its in there somewhere, but i cant find anything... and sorry if im doubling up by asking this...we have the original one, which almost sits on your lap whilst driving...

And coming up to xmas, and being the lovely person i am, i thought that i might see if i can find one, so if anyone has any suggestions or even some piccy's of theirs - i would appreciate it...

im sure its really simple, but hey, you guys are the ones with the knowledge...

ta
amye :D

A R30 skyline steering wheel will fit, has the same size spline. Not really sure if that helps cause they aren't that desirable

I thought you could fit pretty much any steering wheel as long as you buy a boss kit to go with it?

I've got an old momo race style wheel in the 200b, just got a 200b boss kit and bolt it straight on :D

ive had a Datsun Sunny steering wheel (the one with 4 horns) on my daily 1600 for last few years.
It is slightly smaller in diameter and the grip is thicker than the stock 1600 steering wheel.
Although it wont attract the opposite sex or make your mates envious, I found this to be a great steering wheel for what i use it for and its one less thing someone will want to break into your car to pinch.
It cost me a whole $15. ...bargain!

Yeah I think the idea of the post was to find a cheap standard looking steering wheel that will fit the 1600 spline, that is smaller in diameter but thicker than the original wheel.

Well I have a Stanza steering wheel on my 1600. Guess its no surprise
that that fits. Don't know if its a smaller diameter than the original but its
comfortable and works well for me.

Cheers, Neil

240 k faux-wood ones fit, but are probably bigger.

I have a 240K wheel, and it fits great - cost $15. Used to have a Sunny coupe wheel on my last car and I liked it a lot and it cost $15 as well :D
