personaly. I'm a fan of wiseco pistons, I used them in a couple of engines, and they made good reliable power. Theyre available through serco aust. Just check the white pages for there number.
Forgies for my FJ20, with rings and gudgen pin cost me $1100.
Happy motoring !!

all you'll need in an L Series engine is a set of hypertecs for anything under a bar of boost, but if you go over that then yeah go forgies...my choice being wiesco.

IMHO you cant go past special piston service in melbourne, these guys have been making pistons for Nissans for eons. Most of the serious datto engine builders use their pistons. They are made to YOUR specs as well.

Post subject:  HELP!

Baz

i rang yesterday about the fitting kit you sent me. It doesn't seem to fit. i am using the sr20det metal engine brackets and sr20det rubber mounts, same as the ones in the photos you sent me and same as the ones you told me to use. however the crossmember mounting holes are not wide enough for the rubber mounts to bolt into. The crossmember is not wide enough.

As you should be able to guess I am not happy with the quality control isues here, can you please ring me. i left my number with the woman who answered the phone yesterday and who said you would ring either yesterday or this morning.

regards

James

I heard that SPS make bloody good pistons, but I've also heard that you'll have to wait 6 months, and then beg and plead before you will recieve anything.!! Sorry, but after paying a deposit, your commited and can't change your mind, I think they take advantage of that.
