My current head is a W53

Harry,

You have half a deal
if someone comes & buys the cam no sweat, my loss.
Otherwise I will probably grab it off you & pay the ransom of beer to get you to help me install it, i assume it would only take a couple of hours to do? (and seeing as how i dont drink you get to keep all of the beer ! )

I need to get through 2 uni assignments in the next 4 weeks, before the qld champs
so i will get back to you when i know how much time a have spare.

That donk out of Craigs car sure would be nice, sounds like it has everyting that i could want !.....but surely he isnt giving it away cheaply ?

Peter,
mate if you want it just buy it.
(ps peter i ended up formatting my hard drive & reinstalled windows)

Jeff

he's selling because he's moving to America for at least 6 months, and needs the cash. He's asking $4000 unreg.

it also has S13 Silvia struts and brakes, with coil-overs and Koni Yellows. Koni in the back too with coilovers on top of the leafs which have been modified for anti-tramp and reset lower.
4.3 locked diff - same as my car
C210 Skyline 5spd
2.5" mandrel bent exhaust
stripped interior with sealed off rear bulkhead
4pt harnesses
14" wheels with some sort of R spec rubber I can't remember.
body is good, only very minor rust. its british racing green.
oh, and I forgot the carbs - twin 40mm Dellortos done by Iain Stewart.

it would be good if one of you guys bought it. I don't really want to see my old engine go to a stranger - especially with that SSS head... I only let him have that head in the deal because he's a mate. They're bloody rocking horse sh*t. Can you believe I swapped engine that for a blown up A12 turbo? I can't...

Jeff,
the cam isn't advertised, its just sitting under the house so its there whenever you want it. Yeah, it will only take an hour or so to install.

2 assignments in 4 weeks... by my calculations that means you have over 3 weeks of free time! at least it did when I went to Uni. You must be factoring-in time at the student bar :?

if you're going to do it, you may as well get it in there before the QHC

not to me. you say "stamped" - is it stamped on the head by someone, or actually part of the head casting? The casting numbers people go by to identify heads are near the base of the head between #1 and 2 spark plugs.

Yep, it looks like a home made effort. I will look for the casting tonight and get back. So, are there good and bad ones? What are the differences?

hmm, both those sites say the SSS head had 42mm In valves. My SSS head (219 casting) had 44mm In vavles which I thought was standard for the SSS head. I guess its very possible they were fitted by a previous owner - it was off a 2.4l grunter and had some port and combustion chamber mods too.
