Whats the problem?
Do you have the cam #
What lash pads are you using?

I could speculate, but it would not help.
that is not the RB cam id# that i am used to.
Are you sure its an RB cam?
You will need to check the valve geometry,
sounds like the valves are too deep in the head or wrong lash pads.

The motor was running sweet until I decided to pull it down and check everything.I replaced a couple of the lash pads with some I had lying around and thats when I noticed that I could not adjust them accurately.

I found that id # on the back of the cam, as it was in already I did not see any other numbers. Where do you normally see the id # and how many digits are they?

yours eagerly awaiting any help as I want to do hill climbs with this motor asap.

cheers
