I may be buying a fj20 wth twin webers.

My questions are: Are they a decent engine?

Did they make normally aspirated fj20's or has it been modified?

What would/should I pay for a decent running fj20 with webers?

fj are a awse motor
but never came out standard with carbies tho so u may have legality issues depending on ur state (so im led to beleive)

ide inquire into who converted it to carbie n see wat and why it was done just to make sure its a genuine strong motor

Yep they are a good engine, a little heavy but very tough.

Yep they made FJ20E's as well as FJ20ET's

Well the manifolds are quite rare so the manifold and Webers would be worth around $700-$800 alone if they are 45s in good condition. So I would say around $1500

Cheers

A LOT OF WORK
If the cams are re-ground or even factory, all the valve shims need to be checked for correct clearance, a real time consuming chore
