I just bought 2 40mm webers, with a manifold and linkages to run a single. Would this be worthwhile to run on an L20B: 2.1L, mild cam, electronic dizzy etc?
Motor currently has twin flat-top 1.5" hitachi SU's.

Also: how much for twin weber manifold approx? available new?
Is a linkage kit available for twins onto L-motor? how much?
How much would dynotuning cost approx? I read somewhere (on ozdat probably) that twin webers should be dynotuned to run best.

Cheers,

-Tyrie

OK I whacked one of them on today, Poured some petrol on the socks and it sarted straight away and runs awesome. Not bad considering it hasnt been on a car in 18 months. Better response, more power and better sound than SU's. I'm happy... for now.

Anyone wanna buy twin SU's? all there just bolt on.
will possibly trade for twin weber manifold and/or some linkages.

PS. what is stock inlet port size on a v91 head?

In case anyone else is looking for these, prices I got for redline parts:
twin weber manifold: $240
Linkage kit to suit :approx $150, cant remember exactly, but around that.

Tyrie,

There's a gentleman in Queanbeyan who tunes L series really well, can't remember a name but the worksop is called Performance Plus. Give them a try.

thank for the advice mate, but I'm getting a 1200 ute on the weekend, so I'm not gonna go to the expense of putting them on.
