ive got a sr20 and putting it in my 1600 but its a dam auto so i was wondering how much it might cost to convert to manual. the car had a sr20 in it before i got it now i have this one to put in it (hate autos)

You will need the manual trans
flywheel
pilot bearing, (remove the auto spigot from crank.)
clutch assy
manual starter motor.
about $750,$1000. from your local importer.

cool i was wondering is there any other model that fits up to a sr20 eg 260z s or L series gearboxs fit up

No. The SR20 is specific to that motor. The SR boxes are great. I wouldn't recommend anything else unless you are looking at high HP applications.

If you are looking to save money.. You might need to find another hobby. You will only be dissapointed with the failure rate of other gearboxes.

i know its a pricey hobby dude been doing it for years mate just that dattos are very good with compatable parts sr gearboxs are hard to get thats all

how much did ur sr20 cost and where did u get it from if u don't mind me askin? i'm thinkin bout puttin one in a 200b cuz everyone thinks it's a good idea!
