Location: Perth, out in the sticks
i need a bit of help on tuning my engine properly. i want to know the details on how to tune it it (ie idle, fuel/mixture, dwell). It is the L16 engine with twin SU's. it guzzles abit of fuel and runs on a little. Can someone help me?

what fuel are you using??? if you arent already, try using shell optimax or the bp ultimate as it has 98 octane...... my brothers 2L escort used to run on and ping and stuff until we put optimax in it, its been fine ever since.
Definately worth a try.....

Ive tried most of them, i put normal unleaded in it with a bit of octane booster and that seems the best. i just want to know all the deatils on tuning it properly.
