I have a heap of old oil pumps at home, and I'm sure one is the l28 turbo oil pump, however I dont know how you tell the difference between the stock pump and the higher volume pump.

anyone know?

I believe the section that houses the rotor (impellor ?) is taller.

Edit: This means the rotor is also taller ... and hence more flow.

Andrew,

Makes sense. Thanks for that. :) Got a measurement of a standard oil pump height? :D

I might have answered my own question, but other may want to know the answe also.

The gear size on a l28turbo oil pump is 40mm, as opposed to 35mm
