:) On the front cover of FF&R a few years back I saw a SR20DET series 6.. full race car.. now that I could deal with!! :D
I'd luv to see a full fibreglass gogo-mobile with a 13bt.. I think they weight about 300kg or sumthin

eg.. i hate seeing gemini's with SR20DET's but love them in a 1600 or what ever...

I just hate gemini's, doesnt matter what motor is in them....

If a rotor is your thing, then do what you want I reckon.

Any idea how much a bare SR20 would weigh? The 93kg figure sounds reasonable to me, a mate and I swapped out a dead NA 13B from a series 4. We had no engine crane so in true backyardie style we got a sturdy enough length of timber across the engine bay, chained the 13B to it, then got the shoulders under it and lifted it out. Neither of us are big tough guys.

Everyone's opinion is valid - and that?s fine.
And it is YOUR car after all - just don't butcher it to fit 'whatever' into it.
But my personal feelings are my own.
I tend to hold Datsun's (any Datsun's) sacred, so fitting a Rotary to a Datto doesn?t appeal to my ethos...
