Hi guys, I poured over the 100 plus posts for sigma rims tonight but just couldnt seem to
glean the info i needed. I have hopefully secured a set of rims but am now aware i need
to get new wheel nuts to suit the datsun thread and the new rim. Can someone please
point me in the right direction as to where and what i need and what sort of cost i might
expect...one post said $60 ish another said $180 ish :(

and as an after thought, can anyone reassure me that my 200b struts and rx7 brakes wont
be an issue??

thanks, any info appreciated :D

I got some wheel nuts from either mr mag or west state tyres in bently. cant remember which though BUT as I could not find the right nuts exactly I machined about 1mm off the outside circumference of a small rib bit in the middle of the nuts :? they then were able to fit into the small wheel holes these mags have. not sure how safe this is but there is plenty meat lleft on the nut and I drove hard at barbagellos a bit over 2 years...

and no problem with the 200b rx7 clearance as I have the same, plenty of clearance.

It is possible to make them using a nut from 910 Bluebird alloy rim (LX/TRX).
Put them in a lathe and machine them down a bit and put a 30degree taper on them.
I have dimensions for anyone wanting to do it...
Nick.

An alternative might be to swap the 12x1.25mm wheel studs for 12x1.50mm Sigma or Honda ones ?? What are you like with a hammer. I have some Sigma nuts but - there are 2 styles Dave

Heres what i did on a lathe with a used nut and they work perfectly on a 1600 with sigma turbo rims:

The hex end holds well in a 3-jaw chuck.
These nuts come from Bluebird 910 LX (14" oem alloy mag), or TRX (15" oem alloy mag) models...
