hey you'll
after some low offset wheels for my 16,
idealy i would love some xxr 002 or 513 (see pic) but im not sure if they will fit.. 15x8 0 offset
my setup is as follows..
rear: r31 rear struts/brakes
front: 240k struts, hilux calipers, legend disks, custom lca's with aprox 4.5 neg camber.
also have standard and adjustable lca's to fit if need be, although the ones im using now could help tuck the wheel in the guard.. with a smaller fit tyre they may fit.
any thoughts??

SIX-TEN used to run those wheels in that offset on his 180B and they fitted fine, I'm pretty sure he didn't even roll his guards. That said I think 180Bs have bigger guards. I take it the wheels don't come in any other widths of offsets? If you're willing to roll your guards then they should fit if you run a smallish tyre, and your camber will help (if I remember rightly your car has a fair bit of camber on all four wheels). Handling might have to be sacrificed slightly but it's a small price to pay for style

yeh pretty cambered all round actually
there definently more space in a 180b rear not sure about the front,
there is other sizes, 7 inch with pos offset, smaller chrome lip which looks no where near as tuff.
need more confirmation on fitment..
and my guards are already rolled

Rears will fit pretty sweet, but will scrub on the inner part of the door recess (everyones nightmare with fat wheels) if you run the car too low.

The fronts not too sure as it always depends on strut setup but you can be sure they will stick out the guards...

Depends what tyre profile you run -

Ive modified my door recesses to fit a 205/50/15 under there(requires lots of slam to get enough camber) but now there done and should fit larger rubber later with a more sensible offset, the front require camber plates and a little guard massaging to fit.

where others have run 175/60/R15 front and rear wihich just fit with standard suspension, but do scrub on the larger bumps

I dont think a longer LCA will help the wheel tuck under, movement needs to be from the strut top for that to happen. I also think they will hang way out of the guards, I have 240k struts, extended LCAs and adjustable strut tops (3.5deg camber) with 6.5" rims (low positive offset) and they are pretty flush with the guards.

Yep, extended LCA's will make it worse - they push the tyre / wheel out further into the guard.

I'm running 240K struts / brakes, extended LCA's to give just over 4 degrees neg camber, and offset 180B strut tops. I have 195/55/50 tyres on 15X6 +30 offset rims and these just fit under the guards. Actually, I had to "pull" the guards a little to get clearance. And I only have a few mm clearance to the strut, so couldn't fit different offset wheels to help out either.

Sensible answer would be 7" but they just don't look the same

Same car with a 7 and +25 on the front
Is a well known car owned by a guy down south, and it looks so good.

This is a south island car, i think the owners name is Ryan.

As far as he mention all the suspension is pretty much standard.

Mine isnt anywhere near as shiny as that and should hopefuly be ready to paint shortly.
You will never fit the zero offset under the rear without the camber

Cheers people, Loving the new additions changes it so much. Put these rims on after having the 002s on. 8s all round and all i did was rolled the rear gaurds to fit them under the rear, and have yoko 175/60/R15 fitted.

for those playing at home...
i got:
15x8's rear 0 offset
15x7's front +15
195/50 all round

Rear..
fits pretty snug, rear end was a bit out of whack, no scrubin on the left but right was bad, shaved off 3mm from the mounting bit of the rotor and now its alot better (scrubs on hard lefts + bigger bumps) im going to take another 2mm off.

fronts..
apears pretty good, left hits strut on full lock but i havnt swaped the lca's over yet so it should be sweet.
