i have just fitted out the 180b with pedders sports rider springs and shocks and all new pedders bushes throughout the front end. the thing is that the springs are supposed to be 1.5 inch low. fine , the front end sits nice with 55 series rubber on 15's just on the guard, but with the rear there is easily about 1- 1.5 gap from tyre to guard.?. has anyone had this problem before , part numbers all check out and everything is where it should be , the car feel great and handle a1 but it look like some old hot rod with the rake. is there a solution to this , magye different springs. can someone help

Pics? Most off the shelf springs for 1600 will have a slight rake as the car will swat down due to the IRS rear end. I like a little bit of rake anyway. Makes a more agressive stance.

odd, i've had issues with gap on the front end because of the design of the guards, but not rear.
then again I run 1600 low springs in the back.....

A bit of rake is necessary for stability at high speed.
