hey all seen post below and thought i'd also try id my struts. can't remember if previous owner said they where 180 or 200b struts?? they have 54302V9101 stamped on strut with 18 3 80 also stamped below. was considering fitting new springs and shocks, although i've got some series 3 bluebird struts with king springs so perhaps thats the go if there compatible??? also have disc brake diff out of same vehicle have been told it's a fairly straight forward conversion into my 1600 wag wondering if anyone's been down that path???

Easiest way to differentiate between 180B and 200B struts is to measure the bolt hole spacing for the caliper mount bolts. The 180B used 3" (76mm) bolt spacing (centre to centre) and the 200B used 3.5" (89mm) spacing.

Also the 180B calipers are thius funky hinged thing that allows the pad to wear at an angle (you'll understand if you have a good look at it) but the calipers may have been changed out with something else, so that won't be conclusive.

Also, just because they're 3" doesn't guarantee they're 180B (could be 1600, early stanza) and just because they're 3.5" doesn't guarantee they're 200B. However, it you're certain they're either 180 or 200, then this test will tell.
