Ok sorry if this is an old topic, but im only new to the datto's and dnt know too much about cars but am very eager to learn more on how to modify my 1978 datsun 200B GL. Im wanting to lower the entire car to a reasonable height (Nothing 2 stupid).

So my main quesiton is there any sort of lowering blocks i can get for 200b's or should i lean more towards s13 struts?

If there are any other opinons on lowering it, i'd love to hear.

Thanks heaps, best datsun website btw :woohoo:

I got a 79 200b and live north side brisbane, anyway's just get some lowered springs and be done with it, such as King springs, if you head down to your local parts store such as Burson's or even super cheap they should be able to supply them to you.

Thanks heaps sparco5.

Yeh i read the thread you posted of the build up of your ride and its a real nice machine.

And glad i know i can find parts like you did that are local around QLD, unlike most parts which are in like victoria/NSW.

Thanks again brother :)

Do you have a sedan or a wagon?

Lowering blocks will only work on a wagon because sedans don't have leaf springs.

As above, just get lowered springs, S13 struts will be a massive pain to fit, and if you don't want to slam it into the ground then it's overkill.
