I would like to lower my 1600 a couple of inches front and rear. i have searched the forum and i am just getting confused as to what way to go down? Off the shelf item, reset springs, cut springs? While also keeping cost down to a minium.

Cheers

My advice is to purchase from the supplier of your choice, the correct after market lowered springs.
Re-setting is mainly applied to leaf springs and cutting is somewhat agricultural and also illegal.
If your car has the stock suspension, fine, but if you have fitted different front struts, you need the lowered springs for those struts.

If you want to cut springs, buy a gemini. Not a good look for the datto.

Always deals going at larger suspension outlets, such as wholesale suspension in Sydney

Always springs on eBay too. Just don't forget to match the shocks to lowered springs
