This has always been a problem for me with my Stanza .. if I try to put wider wheels on the front or change struts etc it changes the feel of the steering wheel and makes the car much heavier and harder to steer.

The thing I love about my Stanza with standard front suspension and near stock skinny wheels is how light and easy to turn it is.

Apart from putting power steering in, how can I change things in the front end without losing the light, responsive feel ??

Contact DATSPORT to see if the make a steering box brace for the Stanza.
Fitting one to my 1600 made a massive difference to the effort required to turn the wheel.
