There are standard 200b rear sway bars. Hard to find though

280ZX ones fit 200B SSSs but they do have a few differences in the rear end. Might be worth a shot though?

Markus, which 200Bs had rear sway bars? I don't recall any of mine ever having one.

Not sure exactly which. I think some of the coupes had them. Either way there is one in my garage waiting to be fitted again

I know the 300zx rear sway bar will fit a 180b sss, you need to weld some tabs onto the rear cross member.

so if the 180b sss and the 200b are similar this could also be an option

I installed a hollow Z31 300ZX rear swaybar in my 180B SSS.
Sits below the crossmember and trailing arms so it does slightly compromise the ground clearance. I wouldn't do it to a rally car but it works nicely in mine (I have heavier springs, custom valved Konis and a heavier front swaybar).

Cheers!

Hi 180BSSST,

Im interested in installing a rear sway bar into my 180bsss and didn't think you could till I read this thread.

what's is involved in installing the Z31 300zx... what mods are needed? does a Z32 rear sway bar fit??

Can you post a picture to show how low to the ground it sits and where the mounting points are?

your assistance would be appreciated

Cheers
