Hello everyone

I have the front end out of an autocross/khanacross Stanza for a quick freshen up which has grown legs, as quick freshen ups always do.

Before I convert the front struts to Commodore tubes and fork out for new Bilsteins, does anyone have a definitive blow by blow description of the S13 conversion?

I have searched for full details on many forums and google but there is no detailed explanation of the conversion, its performance highs and lows, or the items needed.

The car will be used for autocross/khanacross and the occasional track day and maybe club rally.

Many thanks for your help.

Cheers
Barney

I have/had this setup in my stanza. I bought it like this. The rod between inner and outer tie rod ends had been machined to accept stanza inner tie rod ends and s13 outers. I had some longer soft brake lines made up. drilled the holes in the crossmember for the lca bolts out to 14mm (from 12mm). The struts bolted in without issue. I have had the castor rods machined (one of the ones I bought was bent) to allow more castor. the outer tie tod ends are rose jointed.

edit: the LCA's were drilled so the stanza castor rods bolted in (S13 holes are in a different spot). Have to use S13 front sway bar. It does bolt into the rubbers and clamps on the chassis just and not as good as the stanza one does. Running a stanza front sway bar didn't clear the bottom of the coil overs (tein).
