Heh, nice :)

Any prices? Springs will be one of the first mods I make once the 180 is registered. And I'll be going low. Not stupid low, rather improved handling low :D

Cheers

Mark,
(old thread revival!)

Do you know of any similar springs to the KDRL07 but with a slightly smaller free length?

hahaha
Nik, what Nick said :P

Can get them made up if you want, I just use my current rear springs for measurments sake and the guys make me up whatever specs I need.
the 240k kings were abit soft for what i wanted, so got kings to do a "custom pair" up.
supposd to be 900pounds, they came home at 870 and about 1.5 inchs too high when fitted
I got one coil cut out, the spring heattreaded and folded the coil end flat again.
ended up being 1080pounds

I replaced my rear with KDRL-02s not only are they softer but lifted up the rear of the B by about 1/2 inch or so.

I would like to go lower, say 1/2 to 1inch but don't wanna cut.

I still have the other springs that where in there before but they're rock hard stiff and drop the car so much that the half shafts almost hit the frame!

Have you looked into the Lovells springs, i have some super low lovells at home i will measure the free length over the weekend for you, i had some more details on the lovells spring's standard and super low but i'm yet to find it, will keeping looking, the Lovells super low are 800lb.

Lovells DRL-2SL -800lb 235mm Free Length

Have not installed these so i can not give you a hub to guard measurement for ride height.

Cheers Mark O

If you remove the std rubber spring seat & fit a lenght of heater hose around the
spring top, you will lower the ride height sufficient.
No spring noises either.

I have been thinking on doing just that to mine, need to get it sitting level and a tad lower.

What would people recommend for a street car/daily... The Datsport King springs or standard lowered Kings?
