 Post subject: broken wire on sr20 loom

hey all since i pulled my sr out and its been sitting in the way abit i think i may have caucht something on a wire and snaped it but not sure so thought id ask here before i soilder it up

Looks like a earth wire to me. Best to get hold of a wiring diagram to be 100% sure.

That would be the coil -ve from the ignitor to Cyl number 1 coil. Its a bit longer than the rest because its the wire you hook your timing light onto when checking timing, which is why it would have caught on something.
Engine will misfire on that cyl until you solder it up, so yes you will need to.
