No, we should be able to get this going.
You will need a Multi Meter and some patience though :)

does it crank when u put a screw driver across the solinoid? got dash lights ,charge/oil ?
dont worry about it being a auto loom. these work fine in a manual car providing u have joined the 2 wires running down transmission tunnel as nissanman said. were you getting power from either (black, yellow tracer) before joining them ?

Have you checked the fuses?
The Ignition switch must switch power to the START terminal.
As I said you need to look for some voltages.
If you don't have a multi meter use a simple 12V test lamp to probe in the rear of plugs and such to locate voltage.

could be starter relay not connected right. in the service manual its got battery lead to starter, behind lead (same terminal )is a white wire ,this connects to alternator and fuse box and has a green/wite tracer wire heading off to ignition (between alt n fusebox).

the black/yellow tracer wire from spade terminal on starter goes to starter relay.then another black/yellow comes off and to ignition .this wire has another 1 joined going to the auto switch .
there is a 3rd wire connected to the starter relay this 1 goes straight to auto switch .

so in theory you can bypass starter relay.. I would post the diagram up but no camera. hope this helps

may have to unwrap your loom and trace it all back.does it crank when u put a screwdriver across where the ignition wire goes on starter to the power lead on starter?

the white wire connecting to starter is your fusible link wire.it could be fried inside.its might be the problem .see if you get 12v all the way to fuse box

Ok this is what I found power every were so took plug of the ignition barrel
We bridged wire power to ignition wire then power to the starter wire and bang
cranked over straight away so that means my problem is in my barrel
Next puestion has anyone got one?
