I got sold a ecu and loom to suit a sr20det but I'm not sure if it will suit my S13 motor. I looked at the ecu type and it's a s14 a series 2 adm type. is this a vvt ecu and if it is can I still use it on my S13 motor?

it should be vvt if its s14. you will have to check the pinouts from an s13 ecu and compare the two. as long as each is turbo or non turbo?

I have the non turbo s14 and a non turbo s13 ecu i bought (not connected) has the same pinouts (except no vvt) so in theory it should plug in a work (in reverse to your question)

blanking off the VVT wires would not cause any problems i think. the ecu should compensate for that event not happening?
