Hi all, I have a early 200b and just fitted a ca18de engine. Everything is ok apart from 1 problem the engine is idling at 1500 I've checked all pipes there's no leaks. I've asked Manu people here in uk but no one really has given me the right answer. The engine was running excellent out of the car it was from but just not in mine any help will be very much appreciated

I assume you have backed off the idle adjustment screw to minimum?
I know you have checked for leaks but it sounds like an air leak to me.
Are you using the Air Regulator for cold start?
This device is an electrically heated by-pass valve that goes from the air intake to the manifold, by-passing the throttle plate.
However if not powered up it will be open all the time causing high idle.

Either that or you may be missing some vacuum lines.

CA18DEs are very sensitive to that kinda thing. Also make your your throttle body isn't cocked open from tension on the throttle cable.
