Car has got fj20 na.Has been stored for years and never started. When I bought the car it was rego'd and driving, was parked/stored and not touched.Problem is that I tried to start it and still attempting to get her going but there is no spark coming from the coil, but has power going to the coil. Also no fuel is getting pumped thru.Damn frustrating since nothing has been touched as far as i know, except my brother put a new battery in and tried starting but no luck.Any ideas as to what it may be?Could it be as simple as a loose wire or something like that?Have power to pump too,so bit confusing considering all was good prior to storing the car,so im guessing it cant be anything too bad.any ideas what it could be,thx, cheers ron.

What ignition system is the engine using?
The OEM system is optical, usually extremely reliable.

A storage period of several years will be more than adequate to have all the injectors gum up.
You can clean them yourself but it takes a little time and effort.

all original, yeah, understand about the gunk buildup.have drained old fuel and got new fuel.No fuel getting pumped from either engine bay end or at pump straight off the tank,Pump may be gummed up,can clean all that no dramas, just the no spark is where its confusing.

Some ideas:

Clean/replace the fuel pump. Clean fuel tank, injectors and all fuel lines.
Check fuel pump runs and you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail/regulator.
Check power to the ecu, check power to the dizzy and that all fuses are good.
Check all sensor connections: afm, dizzy (CAS), coolant temp, tps, etc...
