Hey guys just mounted a L18 and 5 speed in my 1200. I would like some more room where my bottom radiator hose comes out and I was wondering if there's an easy way to relocate the alternator to the other side(passanger)? Its a L18 motor

Some L series blocks had the bolt holes in the block for an air-con bracket, that would make it easier. I'm sure you'd be able to rig something up anyway. The trick will be the wiring. Some may even warn you that the alternator will spin the opposite way - it won't. But something to look out for on alternators is the direction of rotation and the fan, if wrong the alternator will overheat.
