Hi guys

I'm looking into getting a Nistune board installed into the SR ECU by PLMS and doing a few mods to be able to up the boost on the T28BB turbo. I've got a S14A motor so am planning on getting some 550cc injectors and a Z32 AFM. Also already have a FMIC and 3" exhaust.

Couple of questions I have:
With the Nistune ECU-am I able to download a map that has a tune for these mods already? Will I need a software licence to do this? Or will I need to tune from scratch?

What sort of power would I expect to see with the above mods running approx. 16PSI boost?

Thanks for any help

Cheers
Chris

You need a license if you want to tune it yourself. Installing the board does nothing to your tune, you'll end up with the stock ecu mapping but with the option to tune as you want.
You could copy/paste a map, I did that when getting a ca18det up and running on a ca16de wiring loom and ecu. It was fine for a base tune but there was still room for improvement. I wouldn't recommend it with those mods, every engine is different.
With the nistune you can alter the injector size and also change your afm to get you running and then you go from there.... There's a ton of info on the nistune forums and in the user manual.

Hey mate,

Ive previously got nistune/plms to load on a base map for those listed mods.
Then when you plug everything up the car will atleast start and can be driven to a tuner to be properly tuned,
As for power you'd expect close to 200rwkw

Anyone recommend a good Nistune tuner in the Illawarra or Sydney region?
