Hi guys, I've just finished a nearly 4 year build of a 1600, after about 15 years since last owning one. I got the car in bits and now I'm trying to work out where to mount the rear seatbelts, but I can't find anywhere for the lower mount to bolt to the car.
Can anyone help point me in the direction of where this is supposed to mount?
Be greatly appreciated, dying to get out in this thing with the kids.
Cheers, Rob

You'll need to remove the rear seat base to find the threaded holes for the belts.

Thanks Graeme.
Have removed the rear seat but can't find any threaded holes. I fear they may have just been painted over or covered somehow. Does anyone have any pics of where these holes should be?

The holes in the centre of the car will be on the rear bulkhead immediately forward of the boot area.
The panel traverses the cabin and is almost vertical.
Might need to remove the seat back to locate them.

The lap belt bolts to the cabin floor in the corner of the wheel arch and the rear bulkhead mentioned above.

The shoulder belt bolts to the base of the "C" pillar right back by the rear window opening.

Can't take pics. too bloody cold outside tonight

This should help you out with the seat belt bolt hole locations for the rear seat area.....pictures is of a 2-door shell, but the same in the 4 doors, too.
