Since there is a 1600 and 1200/120Y thread I doubt we can leave the 180B/610 out of the equation right?

here is my contribution:

Nah, I was just making the "You're a closest Toyota fan because you like a Datsun that has been done up to look like a celica" comment

So are you saying that at about all 610 owners? because its just a 610 painted purple. Cant see the celica ressemblance, please explain. (and its a 4 door, they dont make 4 door sleekers, so wouldnt a SSS look more like one?)

Just the way the front guards have been smoothed, and the way the side photo looked. Just reminded me of a celica! Was the first thing that came to my mind. Then when you said "Maybe it is" I then thought it really was!!!

I just think it's that car in general.

there is no way a 610 can look like a Celica except like Riley said if it was a SSS.

I just hate it when people out on the street confuse my 610 with a KE corolla or a Rx3.

but at least those car have simillar cues to the 610, I guess people don't notice the shiny badge on the back that says DATSUN?

anyways here are some more.

lose the side door protector trim on the wagon and she'll look alot better IMO

I think the comment about the celica was the style in which it was modified, especially to me the billet style rims, which seems to be a common practice on the celicas of that era, it looks from that photo angle to be a similar shape too
