200b's have a similar setup. Only difference is they have rear struts not a separate spring and coil. The same as the Z's and mr30 skylines.

/Pedantic mode on.

Not quite Riley.
The 200B & MR30 rear ends are closer in style to the 1600/180B IRS with trailing arms.
But as you say, with a coil over damper arrangement.

240Z/260Z rear suspension is true MacPherson strut with equal length A-arm LCA's.

Surely we need my 200b's on here. At least some of them. Just wouldn't "B" the same otherwise. HA ha. Like the joke?

Oh and as for the IRS.

The SSS's have a different rear X-member than the IRS sedans. The sedans have the same style X-member as the 1600's, 180b's etc with the hole for the exhaust.

The SSS's have a flat blade type which has no hole as the exhaust runs underneath it.

Here's a couple of mine. Is currently in restoration number 3. Redoing all the suspension, new paint, and still deciding on if I want to run the SR or if going bigger...:)

Wow! I test drove that red SX when it was for sale. Excellent car. I ended up deciding not to buy tho. Kind of wondering why I did that now. :?

Yeah it was. One owner type car. I was really impressed with it. Everything was there. had a brand new engine too. Only thing was the rear seat had been retrimmed I think and they didn't go with the SX stripes again.
