Hi

There used to be a thread somewhere that I had started but kindda died on it's ass, so I thought since I have a truck load of Datsuns which are not really offten see on this site or simply never were sold on our shores, that I'd may as well start a thread.

a lot of the photos are from Japanese and american sites and feature a lot of rare model we never had and some a really JDM looking to the over the top Bozoku tyled ones.

also feel free to post up some of your top pics and also feel free to share any info on the model Datto you have posted up.

Did the Datsun 620 come out in variants other than a ute? Because some of the cars up there look distictly similar at the front...

the 620's came out in the duel cab which is what those other photos are....they have a very small tray and they look like a 2 door sedan but i think the 620's are hot, not that im bias or anything after owning 1 for years.

The 5th and 6th as well as the first photo in your post are not 200B 4 cylinder engined datsun 200B, but the older brother of the 200B, the Datsun 810 six cylinder engined.

See the area between the rear of the front wheel arch and the door edge?. It was made longer to accomodate the 6 cylinder engine.
Something akin to the Datsun 180B/610 and the Datsun 2000GT which was the 6 cyl version.
In Japan both cars were available. In the US, only the 6 cyl 810 was available. In Autralia I think it was the opposite case.

The early 810 has a grille similar to the 200B.

Here a couple photos of the 810 as it was sold in US. This is a wagon, same engine compartmemt as the sedan and coupe.
